Observed the 3rd Saturday in the month of October, Sweetest Day observance originated in Cleveland in 1922. Herbert Birch Kingston, a philanthropist and candy company employee wanted to bring happiness into the lives of orphans, shut-ins and others who were forgotten. With the help of friends, he began to distribute candy and small gifts to the underprivileged.

We also have local delivery options for deliveries located near our Wood Dale Il, Store. All delivery and pick up options exclude Saturday and Sunday. We ship gifts Monday through Friday and our daily cut off time is 2:00 P.M. C.S.T.

We pack every gift with bubble wrap, place it on a layer of packing peanuts, fill the remaining space with peanuts then seal the box. We check every address with the USPS for verification and correctness. As a rough estimate Ground shipping is usually between $8.50 and $11.50.

Cookies included; Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip, Milk Chocolate Chip, Macadamia Nut with White Chocolate, Pecan Caramel with White Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter with Peanut Butter Chips. We send a variety of all 6 flavors. Each cookie is approximately 1/4 lb., individually wrapped and labeled with the ingredients on the back. No artificial flavors or colors in any of our cookies. We mix our own cookie dough and bake on site every day.
