Our gift tins are specially packed to make sure your gift arrives fresh and in excellent condition. We start each tin with a piece of bubble wrap then tissue then lay the cookies in and wrap the tissue over them. Each tin is sealed with a special tape that locks in the freshness.

Here is a little history about Grandparents Day:

The impetus for a National Grandparents Day originated with Marian McQuade, a housewife in Fayette County, West Virginia. Her primary motivation was to champion the cause of lonely elderly in nursing homes. She also hoped to persuade grandchildren to tap the wisdom and heritage their grandparents could provide. President Jimmy Carter, in 1978, proclaimed that National Grandparents Day would be celebrated every year on the first Sunday after Labor Day. We pack every gift with bubble wrap, place it on a layer of packing peanuts, fill the remaining space with peanuts then seal the box. We check every address with the USPS for verification and correctness. As a rough estimate Ground shipping is usually under $9.50.

Cookies included; Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip, Milk Chocolate Chip, Macadamia Nut with White Chocolate, Pecan Caramel with White Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter with Peanut Butter Chips. We send a variety of all 6 flavors. Each cookie is approximately 1/4 lb., individually wrapped and labeled with the ingredients on the back. No artificial flavors or colors in any of our cookies. We mix our own cookie dough and bake on site every day.
